My dog had her heat in Feb & tied 3 times!She looked prego, but no pups still. Could this be a false pregnancy

my chihuahua is showing signs of pregnancy but shes not that big in the tummy. she tied 3 times. her first tie was on the 16 of FEB so her due date would have been on the 21st of this month...no pups still!! Her second tie was on the 19th of FEB, so that would make her due TOMORROW the 24th, and her last tie was on the 20th of FEB making her DUE on the 25th of April... how likely is it she is having a false pregnancy, I mean i bred her 3 times and each time she tied for 15 minutes!!? Should I just wait or take her in to the vet ASAP? Shes nesting, milk coming out of her nipples, shes gained a little weight, but belly not as big as Ive seen other chihuahuas her size (shes 5lbs)My dog had her heat in Feb %26amp; tied 3 times!She looked prego, but no pups still. An xray or ultrasound will give you the definitive answer. Since many chi's are born via c-section, consultation with your vet is important! If she is pregnant and has nonproductive contractions a section may be necessary to save both mom and babies. I'd see the vet ASAP.
inexperienced breeders... please hope she is not pregnant and spay her. i hope she does not die if she is, when giving birth

I wouldn'y panic yet. Just watch her closely. If she strats straining and trying to push a puppy out and no puppy comes in a couple of hours oor if the puppy sac comes out and not puppy comes for a couple oof hours, take her to the vet right away. She is still within the time frame for her pregnancy. She may just be having one or 2 pups and that is why she doesn't look very big. Good luck. I hope everything goes okay.
Take her to the vet right away. She could have a false pregnancy, or she could be carrying only 1-2 pups--the reason she is not that big in the belly. The fact that there was 3 breedings with ties each time would lead you to believe that she is pregnant, but false pregnancies happen quite a bit.
First of all you should never breed your dog in its first heat.you should wate for a second or third heat.this is just to insure that your dogs reproductive system is mature enough and ready to have pups.second dont have the male dog get stuck to the female to many times.this can cause your dog to have alot of pups,which is realy hard on the dog and can be unhealthy.Also dont breed the same dog to manytimes its also unhealthy.
