True or False: The 2005-06 Heat was a ';Older Team'; then the 2007-08 Spurs?

Age comparison between the main players:

2006 Heat vs 2008 Spurs?

Shaquille O'neal age: 34

Tim Duncan age: 31

Dwyane Wade age: 24

Tony Parker age: 25

Alonzo Mouring age: 36

Manu Ginobili age: 30

Gary Payton age: 37

Bruce Bowen age: 36

Anyways, as you can see, the Heat was clearly the OLDER team and my point is that everyone was talking about how OLD the Spurs were last year and in the playoffs it showed...but at the same time people want to ACT like Dwyane Wade had this spectacular team full of prime All-Stars in the 2005-06 Season but in reality he had a team that was older then the last years Spurs that couldn't do jack. Dwyane Wade Haters, like it or not, Wade carried a VERY OLD team that shouldn't of won in 2005-06 but Wade is just that GREAT (unlike Kobe or Lebron)! If the younger but old 2007-08 Spurs couldn't win because of their age then what makes you think that the older 2005-06 Heat should had won? Dwyane Wade was the only young superstar on that team and he's the ONLY reason why they won and if you don't believe it check the stats:

guess your right but what's your point

Spurs 09-12 title lockTrue or False: The 2005-06 Heat was a ';Older Team'; then the 2007-08 Spurs?
apparently... and plus the heat is 4 years and spurs were only 2 years ago... in exsistance...
Gary Payton didn't play though.
Yes. Wade was so old, he needed a wheelchair for his shoulder pain.
Yeah..........

This just shows us that age doesn't matter..
Wade carried them that year, but all that veteran talent played a huge role. so dont say its only wade. Shaq took a lot of d coverage and posey/jwill/toine were huge role players. but wade did ALOT especially in the finals
Dude, what does this prove? that the Heat were an older team than the Spurs? yeah, so what.

Age doesn't make that big of a difference, it may slow you down a bit but that's it. Just because the Heat were older than the Spurs team of last year means nothing. They still got it done. With Shaq getting double and triple teamed each night, and Wade recieving great passes from a Hall Of Fame player in Gary Payton and another great passer in Jason Williams.

PLUS, Wade also had a great supporting cast. He had guys like Walker, Haslem, and even Zo if you want to put him in that category to help relieve the pressure on Wade.

And if you can't see that than I'm sorry, you must have something really stuck up your a$$.

Not trying to be rude, but bro come on. Stop being so dang ignorant!
Why do you constantly babble on about how Wade single handedly took the Heat to a ring. First, off that series was controversial to begin with. Not to mention those ';veterans'; as you call them played a huge role in winning a title and it was not just D.Wade. For anyone to downplay a team and say it was an individual who won a championship shows that your basketball knowledge can be questioned.

Shaq was not the same Shaq in those playoffs stat wise. But, he still accomplished a double double in those playoffs and bitched Erika Dampier around. Making it easier for Wade to make his forays to the hole. It was Shaq's presence alone that marked the Heat w/ an advantage those playoffs. Shaq averaged 20/9 in the regular season that year. Furthermore, Jason Williams was a very good pg that learned under Hubie Brown in Memphis to tone his game more and play championship sound basketball. Other players, like GP came through down the stretch and Zo - who is still the best Heat in history did a lot as a role player. Something he was not accustomed of being as he was a banger and hustle type. Alos, Udonis Haslem is a very good player, Antoine Walker still had some game that year as did Derek Anderson. You had the perimeter d of Posey. Not to mention 5x champ coach in Pat Riley.

Im beginning to think you are some 12-14 year old kid who is just passionate individualistically about only D.Wade and could care less of the Miami team cause you foolishly say it was all him and he is the best. I would take LBJ23 over him in a heart beat and by you saying he is career wise better than Iverson is also foolish. Furthermore, the only player you can say fully carried his team to a title is Tim Duncan. The 1999 Spurs had an over the top David Robinson who went from putting up Hakeem #'s to Andrew Bogut ones. The rest of the team contained washed up has beens, like Porter, Jaren Jackson, Avery Johnson, Steve Kerr - who played 4 mpg that year, and Mario Elie. Only youngsters where Duncan, Antonio Daniels, and Malik Rose.
